Cheryl Cole admits she's "frightened" of going solo

Cheryl Cole doesn’t look like the sort of lady who’d suffer from a crisis of confidence; after all she’s part of one of the biggest pop bands in the country, and she’s been massively successful as a judge on The X Factor, but Chezza has admitted she felt anxious about going solo. Speaking to Sugar about going it alone, Cheryl says, “The thing is, for the past seven years the other girls have been my safety blanket. If I forget my words on stage or something, there's always four other girls that can pick it up. Now I'm completely on my own. I wake up in the middle of the night sick with pure fear going, 'What am I doing?'" But don’t feel too bad for Mrs Cole, as she seems to be embracing the fear. “It's good to feel frightened," she admits. "Being out of your comfort zone isn't always a bad thing.” With the huge high-heeled shoes she wears so often, you’d think Cheryl would be more than used to being out of her comfort zone.

It'll be interesting to see how 'in tune' she sings this year on X Factor, because surely she can't be hypocritical and mime?!!
