Lourdes NOT planning to follow her mum into the music world

Lourdes Leon will not follow her famous mum into a career in music, it has been revealed. The 12-year-old appeared in one of Madonna's videos recently – looking exactly like her, we might add – but she has decided she prefers acting to singing. Madonna revealed the news in a recent interview with Pop Eater, saying, "I don't think she wants to be a singer. I think she wants to be an actress. I'm fine with it, as long as she finishes school, and takes it seriously." We're actually relieved that Madge (oops, she hates being called that, doesn't she? Naughty us) is encouraging Lourdes to finish school first. After all, finding fame too young can have disastrous consequences. Just ask Lindsay Lohan...

PS Can we just say, how cute does Lourdes look in this photo with her dad and his girlfriend? And we’re loving the fringe.
