Cheryl’s miming – right or wrong?

Nation’s sweetheart (insert own trademark symbol here) Cheryl Cole has revealed that she’s set to mine when she sings, er, ‘live’ on The X Factor this Saturday. The 26 year-old will use a backing track when she performs her new single Fight For This Love, as she’s so nervous about messing up. A source says: “Cheryl is the break-out star of Girls Aloud and there are big plans for her. Nobody - neither on the X Factor nor her record label Polydor - wants to see her fail, which is why we thought it was better for Cheryl to mime her performance. But, of course, Cheryl will be heavily criticised for not singing live and then returning to her judge's chair to cast judgement on the hopefuls, who will have spent all week rehearsing and battling nerves.” What do you think? Is it fair enough for her mime? Or should she limber up her lungs and go live?

miming is wrong and if she had any respect for he fans she would sing live! the whole point of being a singer is to actually sing! and her crying last night was such an act! she was only cryin coz she wanted people to like her again get SHARON back

I don't see how she can can be allowed to sit and judge the contestants on their singing ability when she isn't prepared to do the same.Hypocrite? Much?! Robbie Williams sang live last week,it wasn't brilliant & he was nervous, but at least he did it

No one remember that this is girl who attacked a toilet attendant and slagged off other ppl saying if she was cheated on they wouldnt get a second chance?? U can take a girl off the street but u cant take the street away from the girl
