Andrew Lloyd Webber vows to beat cancer
Andrew Lloyd Webber yesterday revealed that he is suffering from prostate cancer, but that he's determined to beat it. The musical legend has told friends he will be back at work by the end of the year, with one adding, "It's been a huge shock, but he's confident of a full recovery." Lord Webber has already begun treatment at a private clinic in London, and his official spokesman has confirmed that the cancer is in its "very early stages". The famous composer has got a whole host of big projects in the pipeline, including new musical Love Never Dies, which is the sequel to Phantom Of The Opera, and TV talent search to find the members for The Wizard Of Oz. We're wishing him all the best.

Katie and Alex on verge of split?
Katie Price is coming close to finishing with Alex Reid, and the cage fighter last night begged her not to throw him out of her house, it is being reported. The couple have been spending a lot of time together lately, and now pals are claiming the star needs some space. "Katie likes Alex, but she doesn't love him," blabbed one friend. "He is always telling her he loves her and it's just too soon after her split with Pete." Katie has also been told that she won't be allowed to visit troops over in Afghanistan, because MoD chiefs fear she'd only do it to raise her own profile, and that it would be a PR nightmare.

Miss Frank get the boot from The X Factor
Miss Frank became the third act to be booted off The X Factor last night, after losing out to Danyl Johnson in the public vote. The shocked girls, who had received their best comments ever from the judges, vowed to stay together as a band and keep working. Danyl was visibly shaken to be in the bottom two, and a furious Simon Cowell said, "I have never been so surprised in my life. If you are going out after that it is a joke. A total joke." With Danyl getting so few votes this week he has been knocked off the top of the favourites' list by the bookies, and Geordie Joe is now the favourite to win the show. Amy and Blake get remarried on Facebook
They may have got officially divorced three months ago, but in the weird world inside the heads of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil, they are in fact still married. The couple have changed their statuses on Facebook back to "married", and loads of their friends have written congratulatory messages. Blake himself added, "Can't argue with true love. What's the point?" Amy's dad, Mitch is less than thrilled with this new development, as he is terrified that his daughter will fall back into her former ways and become hooked on drugs again. Since splitting up, both Amy and Blake have managed to kick their addictions to crack cocaine and heroin. We sincerely hope they know what they're doing...
