Seeing as it's now only 58 days until Christmas *starts sweating slightly in panic* celebs are already being snapped in their glitziest garments – and none are as glitzy and, erm, shiny as this coat Gwyneth Paltrow stepped out in last night. Looking not unlike the Christmas turkey before it goes into the oven, Gywnnie braved the chilly New York weather in this £334 Alice + Olivia coat as she headed to a launch party for a Valentino DVD, teaming it with £1,500 Christian Louboutin Bridget cage boots. We can't decide whether she looks fab, or like a big Christmas bird in a wig. Metallics are certainly back in fashion for the foreseeable future, but has Gwynnie gone a step too far in this creation?
