Simon Cowell, "JEdward are deluded. I'm praying they don't win"

Simon Cowell has never been John & Edward's number-one fan, and their overwhelming success over the past few weeks has left him a little bewildered, to say the least. Talking about the possibility of JEdward actually taking the X Factor title this year, Simon joked, "I'm praying they don't win, but there are reports they might be in the lead." Simon says he has no idea how the voting has gone so far because he doesn't see the figures, but agreed that "you have to live with a public vote". Simon then admitted, "The twins are completely deluded and live in fantasy land – but they are lovely. They thought Britney would watch their performance and wanted to invite Robbie [Williams] to their party." Simon says he's also becoming disillusioned by the hugely popular Stacey Soloman, because she has yet to perform a dance routine. "Stacey's like a singing candle," he complained. "She hasn't moved in three weeks." The music mogul has promised something special to come from his act Danyl Johnson this week, after the former favourite ended up in the bottom two at the weekend.
