Kelly Brook blames Ant and Dec for wrecking her TV career

Ant and Dec are two of the most-liked people on TV – probably in the whole showbiz world – so it feels very unusual to hear someone saying bad things about them. Kelly Brook, it would seem, is definitely not a fan of the Geordie duo, as she says it was them who orchestrated her sacking from the Britain's Got Talent judging panel. "There was nothing I could do in this country after Britain's Got Talent," says Kelly. "The people at ITV were telling me that I had upset Ant and Dec and that was it. I really felt it was working out. Ant and Dec had never been anything but pleasant to my face but, clearly, they didn't want me on the show." Kelly didn't have any problems with boss Simon Cowell, saying, "I think his intentions were completely honest. He had seen how X Factor worked when he brought in Cheryl Cole, so he tried to do the same thing with BGT." Kelly also says she definitely did not "go begging" for the job, which is why her subsequent sacking was all the more frustrating. "Basically, I just don't think Ant and Dec liked me," she says. "Their egos are such that they were saying to themselves 'How dare she think she can come on to our show?'. I would like to apologise to them now if they thought I didn't know who they were. I do think they are very talented guys who are great at what they do." Kelly is still clearly very angry with Ant and Dec, adding at the end of her interview: "As for Ant and Dec, good luck to them. They are rich and they are happy, but they won't be in my autobiography, even if I am in theirs!" Miaow. It's all rather juicy, isn't it?
