Abi Titmuss is a serious actress. Who knew?!

Ask someone who Abi Titmuss is, and you'll most likely to get a response involving either Celebrity Love Island or *triple-shudder* John Leslie – but it turns out that our Abi has actually been doing a whole load of serious thespian-type stuff. The former nurse has just been cast as none other than Lady Macbeth in a Seagull Theatre production of Shakespeare's Macbeth. Oooh – get her! Shakespeare and everything. We're impressed. The artistic director of the show told us, "There is no stunt casting – this is someone who is earning her stripes. She is a really, really good actress and that was one of the main considerations as we needed a strong female lead. To those who have not seen her she will be a wonderful surprise. She brings depth and heart to it and she will move people." Wow. That is some serious praise. We're extremely intrigued. You go, Abi!

She got good reviews in the past so best of luck. Lady Mac is an amazing role on stage. Sorry, I'm not in the camp of slagging off women for their sexuality, I never understand this reverse misogyny from women. Sad.

Good luck to her I say, people have preconceived judgments and I'd love her to be fucking amazing to piss all your bitches off.

Must've picked uo the acting bug from Marc Warren while they were together. Pah, she'll never be anywhere near his league. Or that of any actor.
