Wayne and Coleen "thrilled" with new baby Kai:
Wayne and Coleen Rooney are said to be "thrilled and excited" to have become parents for the first time, after they welcomed 8lb 20z baby boy Kai yesterday afternoon. Last night a source revealed that Wayne was at his wife's side throughout the birth, and that he had "tears in his eyes" when he first set eyes on his son. Baby Kai was nine days overdue, but it's quite normal for the first baby to take a bit longer to arrive. A spokesperson said last night, "Mother and baby are both absolutely fine. Wayne and Coleen are thrilled with the wonderful addition to their family life." Wayne's grandmother Pat said happily last night, "We're all over the moon. They were expecting a boy – and we're hoping he'll turn into a little Wayne." Bookies are already taking bets that little Kai will end up playing in the Premier League – and you can even place a 1000/1 bet that he'll be Prime Minister one day!

Now there are Jedward conspiracy theories!
Rumours are circulating that Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh set up John & Edward to win The X Factor months ago, after it was revealed that the twins had been given two auditions. Jedward did their first audition in London, but then appeared in Glasgow three days later, prompting paranoid X Factor fans to assume there's something fishy going on. However, the show's bosses have been quick to clear up the confusion, explaining, "There is always a pre-audition. They did this in London and were then asked to audition for the judges. They were given a choice of London or Glasgow. They couldn't make London, so they went to Glasgow." Do people seriously believe Simon would chose JEdward as the winners? They're still there because people just love them.

Fan pulls a gun on Lindsay Lohan!
Lindsay Lohan was left shaken and in tears after a fan pulled a gun in her face in Morocco. Thankfully, the gun turned out to be a fake, but – understandably – Lindsay did not see the funny side. "Some guy was following me," she later Tweeted. "Then pulled up in his car and pointed a GUN at me. I was on the phone with my mum and I screamed and ducked. The guy started laughing and pushed the trigger. It was a fake gun, but I was crying. He scared me." Shaken Lindsay took quite some time to calm down after the incident, which her friends are calling a "sick joke". Some people's sense of humour is seriously warped. Poor Lindsay.

Jamelia files for divorce after just 18 months
Singer Jamelia has filed for divorce from her husband Darren Byfield, after a rocky 18 months of marriage. The couple split during their engagement after Darren was rumoured to have cheated with a blonde, but they later agreed to try to make things work for the sake of their daughter Tiani. Jamelia released a statement last night which reads: "It is with regret that Jamelia and Darren Byfield today confirm they are splitting up and getting a divorce. No one else is involved. Their priority is naturally their children." Sad times.
