Rihanna has spoken out about her assault at the hands of Chris Brown for the first time, telling Glamour magazine "this could happen to anyone". Rihanna explains, "I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day." She then goes on to add reflectively, "The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard." Rihanna admits in the interview that Chris Brown was "definitely my first big love" but adds, "This happened to me...it can happen to anyone." Rihanna is due to be honoured at the annual Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City this coming Monday.

Nah girl. Don't make a flippant comment about a celeb with a mental illness. Way to put down another singer.
