Joss Stone decides to slag off Lily Allen. What a good idea...

Slagging off Lily Allen is never a good idea, but when has good advice ever stopped Joss Stone putting her bare foot in her gob? The singer was asked what she thought about Lily's ongoing battle to ban illegal file-sharing, and her response was less than complimentary. "Lily needs to sell records because she’s not a singer," Joss said earnestly, adding, "And that’s not an offence to her, because I think that she knows that, too." As if that wasn't bad enough, Joss then waded further down into her self-dug grave by saying, "I think she’s a performer and she’s more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that’s what we make our money from, from playing live. And I think it’s probably harder for an artist like Lily...” Ouch. Joss, who we imagine has made quite a bit of money from her music career so far, then added, "Who said that musicians have to be millionaires? Who made this a rule? We don’t need that much money. We just don’t. We only need enough to make music and to eat and to go on tour.” Do you think Joss speaks the truth, or is she talking out of her bottom?
