Britney Spears

Britney is NOT happy with her judge
It's always someone else's fault, isn't it? Yesterday Britney was overheard whinging to a pal, "I hate my judge – he's so mean". Well, the judge wouldn't be so flipping mean if you hadn't got your life into such a mess in the first place. Then, in brilliant Titney fashion, she dismissed him as "just an old fart". Apparently, the judge told Britney she was being "catty" (we wish we knew what THAT was in reference to), but Brits wasn't having any of it, claiming instead "he was being catty with me and paid me no respect at all." heatworld is assuming that no one's ever pointed out to Britney that you have to earn the respect first.

BBC stars told of massive pay cuts

heatworld is glad it doesn't work at the BBC today. Director General Mark Thompson is planning to axe 2,800 jobs later and angry workers – from our fave shows like Strictly Come Dancing and EastEnders – are preparing to strike. But it's not just the behind-the-scenes staff who are feeling the brunt of the cut-backs, big names like Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and the Little Britain boys were called into talks yesterday at the BBC and told their huge salaries are likely to be cut. Yikes.

Kate's car crushed

She’s been wincing her way around the dancefloor on Strictly, but heatworld has the feeling that this piece of news is going to be even more painful for Kate Garraway than her tendonitis. The GMTV star’s car – a £10,000 smart VW – has been crushed after it was left parked on a public road with an expired tax disc. Kate, who was told by a doctor not to drive because of her dancing injuries, says she did not realise the tax had run out. A pal said, “Kate has been in agony and was banned from driving, so the car was just sitting around the corner. She didn’t even know it had been taken until a few days ago.” Poor old Kate, looks like it’s the bus from now on…

Kylie plans birthday tour
Kylie turns 40 next year (we know, we couldn’t believe it either) and she’s decided to celebrate the occasion with a new world tour. Yes, the pop princess is already planning the (no doubt) extravagant shows, which will kick off shortly after her birthday on 28 May, with long-term friend and creative director William Baker. It seems there is just no stopping the brave singer, who has been working almost non-stop since winning her battle with cancer. William said excitedly, “It’s going to be fabulous. It takes ages to pull it all together so we want to take our time on it.” Reserve us a pair of front-row tickets, please.
