Howard’s comments about cannabis land him in the middle of a drugs row

Take That have hit the headlines again, but for all the wrong reasons, following Howard's claims that cannabis is safer than alcohol. The 39-year-old singer thinks the drug should be legalised, saying, “I know it’s a touchy subject, but if more people went out stoned than drunk – which a lot of people are on the weekend – I think there would be less fighting, less trouble and less violence.” But while some have praised Howard's honesty, others have branded his comments "irresponsible". What do you think – does he have a point, or has he just gone potty?
