Simon's advice to Britney

Simon's advice to Britney:
He’s never been one to mince his words, but Simon Cowell has proven he has a softer side by speaking out about his sadness for fallen star Britney. The usually acid-tongued X-Factor judge urged Brit to drop her "stupid" friends and go home to her mum. He also claimed that Brit’s recent breakdown had been a disaster waiting to happen, “You could see this coming a long time ago. I said six months ago that she should go home.” Simon also has some advice for Britney, “Stay with your mum, don’t go out with your stupid friends, just live normally,” he urged. The music mogul’s comments came after another day of typical erratic Britney behaviour as she drove round LA all day amid a sea of paparazzi, then abandoned her car in the street when the tyre blew. A pensive Simon added, “I do feel sorry for Britney. Someone should have said to her, ‘Right, enough. You’re not going to cope.'” We really hope Britney listens to his advice, but we’re not sure she listens to anyone anymore.

Richard rumoured for Strictly
Missing Strictly already? Well, we have a bit of news that will make the arrival of the next series become even more exciting… Richard Madeley! Yep, the chat-show doofus says the BBC has been asking him to take part for years and he’s now considering it. “They’ve asked me to do it before – and this time I might say yes,” he said. We don’t know about you, but heatworld thinks this would be hilarious. We all know how good Richard is at getting his foot in his mouth, so the tricky dance moves shouldn’t be much of a problem. Another celeb rumoured to be appearing is artist Tracey Emin, who has apparently been begging for a part on the show. This could be the best series of Strictly yet.

Robbie: "I don't know when I'll tour again"
You can keep your panties on ladies, Robbie Williams has announced that he won't be back on stage any time soon, and is not even sure when he will release any more music. Robbie says he is keeping his rudebox tucked away for now, whilst he stays put in LA and recovers from the huge strains of the last few years. "There might not be a proper album out this year," he said, "And there definitely won't be a tour any time soon. F**k that, the last one nearly killed me." Robbie famously went into rehab after his last tour finished at the end of 2006 and the former Take That wild child has subsequently been spotted in LA practising yoga and drinking health shakes. The worry is that the Robster might just get accustomed to a life of luxury in the slow lane. "I do have to say," he continued, "The more time I'm spending away from public life, the more I like it." Come back soon, Robbie, we miss you!

George speaks out about Nicole's pregnancy
George Clooney has said that he thinks pal Nicole Kidman will make "a perfect mother". Nicole has finally confirmed that she is expecting a baby with husband Keith Urban, and gorgeous George was one of the first to congratulate her. "I'm thrilled for her. She'll be great," he said, "She'll be a tall mother." We're not sure if this last comment is some LA-speak for great/wonderful/marvellous, or maybe he just means that she is, ummm, tall. But we join George in wishing Nicole and Keith all the best.
