Camping it up on Dancing On Ice!

It's Dancing On Ice season – and once again straight men can enjoy the campest TV show in the world without being questioned about their sexuality.

Rachael Hopper and I went to the launch last week and had a very close look at the contenders (although not as close as what Aggie showed us on the TV show!). As we know from Strictly, the best skaters rarely win and it's possible to try to work out the winner before the competition has even started. Girls seen as pushy will never get the vote (poor Gabby Logan!).  Really bad contestants will fall by the wayside eventually, although the sympathy vote will get them further than deserved.

Sportsmen tend to win these things for some reason (Kyran Bracken, Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash), so even though he looked a bit ropey on Sunday, it's probably worth having a few quid on Steve Backley. It's all about the “journey” though, it's not about the winning!
