Heath Ledger was depressed
As the world continues to reel from the sad news that Heath Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment yesterday, new details of the tragic star's life are unfolding. It has emerged that the 28-year-old actor was "deeply depressed" since splitting with wife Michelle Williams, according to friends. "He really wanted it to work with Michelle, especially as they had their little girl. But their arguments were becoming quite nasty. Michelle ended it and Heath was devastated," says a source. US reports also said that Heath's drug use had caused problems in their relationship, too, "Heath had serious problems with drugs, including cocaine and heroin," says a source. However, despite rumours of suicide, Heath's family have now said that police told them that Heath's death from sleeping pills (the autopsy is today) was accidental and there is no evidence to support the rumours that he may have committed suicide, saying that 'he was not that kind of person.'

Meanwhile, as the sad news started to unfold last night, rumours that Heath died in Mary Kate Olsen's flat began to appear - which have now been revealed as totally untrue. The mix-up came from the fact that Heath's cleaning lady, who found his body in the flat, called Mary Kate's bodyguard for help as he lives around the corner and knows how to administer first aid.

Amy's drug film seized by police
After the shocking video of Amy Winehouse smoking crack appeared yesterday, Police have now moved in and seized the video to see if she can be charged. The singer was filmed in a 19-minute binge smoking crack, snorting ecstasy and taking cocaine. A police spokesman said: "We will be viewing the footage to ascertain whether any action needs to be taken."Meanwhile, Amy's dad Mitch says: "No one recognises the problems more than her and seeing images of herself like that may make the difference."

Lohan proud of her nine Razzies
On Monday, we brought you news that Lindsay’s film I Know Who Killed Me scooped no less than NINE nominations (yes – it really was that bad) for at the Golden Raspberries, the Hollywood Awards that honour the worst of the movie industry. She even got two Worst Actress nominations (she was playing twins in the film), and you’d think that she’d be hanging her head in shame – but this is Lindsay we’re talking about. Instead, the actress has announced; “He [director Chris Sivertson] helped me give a performance I didn’t think I was capable of. I’ve already told him I’ll be in anything he directs.” In denial, anyone?

Natasha upsets UK fans
After canceling an entire UK tour for the second time, Natasha Bedingfield has seriously annoyed her fan base (yes, she still has one, apparently. He's called Daniel) by deciding to remain in America to keep promoting her single, Love Like This. Her fans have had to put up with the long-awaited tour being moved from last September to February, but now it is cancelled entirely. It can’t be that much better over there, can it? Don’t forget your roots, Tash!
