Michelle Williams' father pays tribute to Heath

Following on reports that Heath Ledger's former fiancee Michelle Williams found out about his death after getting off a plane from America to Sweden, friends are now saying that Michelle is understandably utterly "devastated" by the news. Michelle’s father, Larry Williams, has paid tribute to Heath, saying: "I think Tennyson got it right in the poem when he described someone as having died at a young age but burning the candles at both ends – and oh, what a beautiful flame he made that was Heath – what a beautiful flame he made and a great talent. My heart goes out to everyone in his family and my family. The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved dearly." Michelle and Heath first got together when they met filming Brokeback Mountain, and later had their daughter, Matilda Rose in October 2005. Fellow Brokeback Mountain actor Jake Gyllenhaal is Matilda's godfather.

timberwolf...i dont agree. i know loads of people who take drugs because they think its cool. not because they are unhappy.

I agreegec_12 but, nothing will make them stop and realise, not even something as tragic as this. The constant trend that is being a celeb,is that they all think they are indestructible and they are not but death is seemingly the only outcome.

Keifersgirl, Amy and Britney need PITY not hate!!! They may be the next to die a young death. Addicts have very little control over what they do, they do drugs because THEY ARE UNHAPPY!!!!
