Tributes to Heath Ledger

So the tributes to Heath Ledger have continued to pour in today. Director Rob Reiner told us that it brought back memories of the tragic death of River Phoenix with whom he worked on the film "Stand by Me" - like Heath he called it a tragic waste. And Morgan Freeman at the London premiere of "Bucket List" last night told us of his shock. Morgan co-stars with Jack Nicholson in "Bucket List" who played the Joker in the first Batman film. Heath plays the Joker in the new Batman film out in July - Morgan told us that he hasn't seen any clips of the performance but that he has heard it's fantastic.

Nicole Kidman's quoted as saying "What a tragedy. My heart goes out to his family"

Mel Gibson said: "I had such great hope for him. He was just taking off and to lose his life at such a young age is a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family".

I don't know about you but my initial shock has turned into a real sadness - Heath you are sorely missed.
