The moment John won Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack

Ooh, we haven’t had a shock result like this on a reality show since, er, well, Leon beat Rhydian. Yes, against all odds, the big and cuddly John beat bendy circus performer Emilia to be crowned the winner of Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. In a somewhat weird final show, where Dermot announced the results and did interviews inside the house, viewers were shocked when following Nathan and Jeremy’s sixth and fifth place departure, red-hot favourites Anthony and Amy came fourth and third. Even they looked bewildered. Still, John was at least a deserved winner. Anyone who had to suffer the humiliation that hijacker Matt Lucas put him through on opening night (you know, making John say whatever he wanted him to say to his new housemates through a secret earpiece), surely had to win in the end.
