Jumping the shark

I gotta say that I’m excited about next Sunday and sad as it is, it’s about a TV show.
I feel that I’ve invested a lot of time and money (not really money but it sounds better) into 3 series of Lost and now I’m hoping that the new series will provide me with some answers but I’m not holding my breath.
At the start of the show a plane crashes on to a supposedly deserted island in the middle of nowhere and then all sorts of wild shenanigans have ensued from the ghosty stuff to weird experiments on babies. It started like it was going somewhere but by the 4th series I have a feeling that the writers of the show are now making it up as they go along.
I wish that I could just give it up as a bad job but unfortunately they still have me by the short and curlies in the hope that the whole show will tie up nicely and make some kind of sense.
Has Lost ‘jumped the shark’? Which the Fonz did in Happy Days many years before. I fear it has, never (like its characters) to return to reality again. All the same I’ll be watching Sky One Sunday night at 9.

Lilbird1 it means that the shows peaked and that its all downhill from now on. But i dont think thats happened with Lost i like the fact it keeps you guessing thats why everyone watches it its not predictable like most shows out there.

I love lost and after the 4th series there is only 2 more and by the end we will finally know what the hell is going on. Its so addictive i got all excited and had to ring my mum to tell her its coming back on.

Nope - still no wiser about this whole 'shark jumping' thing! Sounds like an extreme sport to me! Heat people, please explain it to a thickie!
