Bored fans walk out of Lily show

Over a third of the audience walked out of Lily Allen's new talk show – complaining of boredom. The singer, sporting a new look – which, we have to say, we LOVE – disappointed the crowd as she struggled to read handwritten cue cards after a teleprompter broke. One said: "Everyone really, really wanted it to work for Lily. She is such a lovely person, but all the jokes fell flat and she seemed very nervous. It just did not work. I do think she's got a nice voice, but she didn't sing at all. I think everyone was expecting she would." The show was attended by 150 fans from the singer's "friends" on MySpace, but after playing videos showing animals having sex, Allen's show failed to impress. Even special guest actor Cuba Gooding Jr commented, "I don't know what's sicker, animals having sex or you clapping."

apart from the (almost Michelle Scott Lee standar) orangeness I love Lily and think she looks great, I hope it goes well for her, there's too many people waiting to shoot her down - just go for it Lily and keep your head held high!

oh poor lily. that is hideously embarassing. but you'd think they might have come up with even slightly better material - animals doing it?! reminds me of when was 13 and two pigeons were shagging outside the classroom. was funny then.
