Amy Winehouse

Amy back on "dangerous level" of drugs;
According to pals, Amy Winehouse is back on E, coke and dope. The singer, who was clean for just 10 days while in rehab, has told pals, "I can't go on". Despite Amy's family's hopes of her being on the road to recovery, pals say Amy is "back to the dangerous levels of before". One friend has spoken out describing how Amy deliberately burnt her hand with a lighter, screaming; "My life is a shell of what it was. People talk to me and I just zone out. It's like the whole world is now stillborn. Colours aren't as bright, love doesn't feel real. I don't know who I am and I just feel numb... Amy has been up and down in a way she never was before. One minute she'll be in a heap on the floor, screaming she can't go on. She feels that rehab is turning her into some sort of zombie with no emotion."

Britney denies pregnancy rumours
Despite rumours in the US press that Britney is pregnant by on/off boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, the troubled singer has denied such reports. Adnan had apparently been bragging to mates that Britney was expecting his child, and indeed she seemed to be showing a bit of a bump, but a source said: “Britney has put on weight because doctors have switched her prescription.”

Date set for end of McCartney divorce case
The end of the Macca/Mucca divorce case is nearing – with a judge set to rule how much of Paul's money will go to Heather on 17 March. Mr Justice Bennett may also make part of the judgement public (fingers crossed). His decision will be aired because of the huge importance of the case for short-lived marriages involving the super-rich. A legal source said, "Both parties have been asked to keep the date free."

Simon takes on Gladiators
Oh, how we’d love to see Simon Cowell in a lycra unitard battling it out with Wolf, but sadly we mean that the high-waisted one is coming up with a new Saturday night TV show to rival the revamped Gladiators that’s coming to Sky One. ITV have brought in Simon and his TV company Syco to make a big arena programme to compete with Sky’s recent purchase of the 90s legendary show. The new programme – as yet unnamed – is apparently going to be modern and hi-tech, with interactive and video-gaming elements. An ITV source said: “Our bosses were offered Gladiators but turned it down in favour of Simon’s idea. The two shows are going to war.” Ooh, it’ll be foam fingers at dawn, we can’t wait…
