American Idol gripped by LUDICROUS scandal

In this country, we’re shocked if our Reality TV contestants don’t have a murky past, but it seems the US viewing public are a bit more easily shocked – they’re up in arms about an American Idol contestant who used to be a – gasp – stripper. David Hernandez, who’s just made it into the finals, worked as a nudie singer and dancer at a gay strip joint called Dick’s Cabaret until a few months ago – and, after much deliberation, TV network Fox have decided that he will still be allowed to appear on the show “despite his past”. Um, why wouldn’t he be? At least he’s got a more interesting story than all those High School Musical rejects. What do you make of the big hoo-ha?

Well i think the only reason they continues to let him stay in the comp is because of the HUGE law suit they would face if they kicked him off. Stripping is a job its not like hes a criminal...bet they have a few of those on the show though

It's not like he broke the law or anything! Last time I checked, stripping was perfectly legal.
