heat favourites get loads of Bafta nominations!

The Bafta TV Awards nominations are out, and they're full of our favourite shows. First up, big congrats to Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr for their first ever Bafta nomination for Best Entertainment Perf in The Friday Night Project (up against Simon Amstell, Stephen Fry and Harry Hill). The brilliant Skins gets a much-deserved nod in the Drama category up against heavyweights like Life On Mars and The Street. In the Entertainment category, Britain's Got Talent faces off against Strictly Come Dancing. James Corden will be thrilled with his nomination for Comedy Perf, but Gavin And Stacey is robbed of a nomination in the sitcom category where ITV1's Benidorm controversially gets in. Perhaps the biggest snub of all is the lack of a Corrie nomination in the Continuing Drama (or Soap) section, where it's been shut out in favour of Enders, Emmerdale and The Bill!

The Bafta TV Awards are on BBC1, Sunday 20 April hosted by Graham Norton.
