Leona might be No.1 – but she’s still not rich!
Leona Lewis might have topped the US charts, but her new-found fame across the pond hasn't made her rich enough to buy a house in London! The singer, who is the first woman to reach No.1 in America for 21 years, can not afford to buy a house where she grew up in Hackney, East London, despite her global success. Leona and her boyfriend Lou Al-Charma recently put an offer of around £500,000 in for a property, but when the sellers found out who wanted the house they upped the asking price by another £100,000. A friend said, "It was quite upsetting. They had their heart set on a property and offered the asking price. But the seller thought as Leona was a pop star she could afford more, so upped the price. It's cruel." And even Leona's dad has said in the past that the talented lady is far from a millionaire, adding, "It's a myth Leona is a millionaire. She earns enough to live on, but that's it."

Amy winds up Blake
Yesterday afternoon Amy Winehouse wore a heart-shaped badge with her husband's name emblazoned across it on a visit to Pentonville prison for marriage crisis talks. The troubled singer went to see Blakeincarcerated, but was turned away because she was late for visiting hours. A pal revealed, "Blake is getting really wound up by Amy. Her visits are less and less frequent – when she does visit, she's late... He has told Amy he wants a divorce. Part of that's about getting her to visit. But he's closer to going through with his threat."

Pete loves Scientology
Probably the most bizarre story this morning – Pete Doherty has become obsessed with Scientology, you know, the weird religion Tom Cruise is in to, which believes humans are an exiled race from space. The rocker has apparently become hooked on the religion since meeting new girlfriend and Scientologist DJ Nadine Ruddy. A source said: “Pete’s chatted a lot with her about it. He went out and bought some books to read up about it. Her just wanted to find out more about Nadine and what she believes in.” Ooh, we can’t wait for Pete to start jumping up and down on sofas during chatshows...

Mark Ronson pays tribute to Corinne Bailey Rae’s hubbie
Music producer Mark Ronson has talked about his sadness at the untimely death of Corinne Bailey Rae’s husband, Jason Rae, last Saturday. On his MySpace page, he calls musician Jason “an incredible dude.” He continues on his blog: “It’s such a sad, sad thing. I’m sorry that I can’t really put anything into words,” and describes him as “one of the funniest people ever… and one of the most amazing sax players I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with.” Yesterday, an inquest heard that Jason, 31, died from a suspected drugs overdose.
