Amy in hiding
Amy Winehouse has become so distraught about the state of her skin, she’s virtually gone into hiding – not even popping out for ice pops or anything. The singer has been pictured recently with nasty scabs on her face and is said to be so low that pals even fear for her sanity. They say she has never been this low and that she has been writing sinister song lyrics about death. Amy, who is currently working on her third album, is thought to be so down that the lyrics to her new music are bleak with some sources describing it as "suicidal music". One said; "Her next album is darker than ever. Amy's got low self-esteem anyway but her skin has made her want to hide away from the rest of the world. And we have started noticing more and more cuts on her arms. Her problems are pushing her over the edge and she's turning into a depressed recluse."
Heath’s family claim he had a love child?
Most curious story of the day: Heath Ledger may have had a secret love child. Yikes! This would normally be a raised-eyebrow moment, but the story actually originated from actor’s family. Heath’s uncle claims he had an affair with a woman of 25 when he was just 17 years old while living in his home city of Perth. The woman was said to have found out she was pregnant with a girl after they split – meaning the child may have a claim on his estate. His uncle Hayden, talking to the Sydney Telegraph, said; "There is a very real possibility that Heath was the father."
Patsy Kensit's wedding cancelled
Patsy Kensit has split from the man who was due to become her fourth husband, it has been announced. It’s a rather dubious honour, but 46-year-old Jeremy Healy would have joined the ranks of her marital conquests including Liam Gallagher if he had not apparently called off their eight-month romance. Patsy, who is said to have asked Liz Hurley to be her bridesmaid at the planned wedding, is said to “devastated” by a friend.
Mark Ronson’s girl band
Everything pop producer Mark Ronson has touched in the last year has seemed to turn to gold – so we’re very excited about the news that Mark is putting together an all-girl group. Lucy Duffield, a finalist rejected from BBC series Any Dream Will Do two weeks ago, has been flown to New York to start recording tracks with Mark for the as yet unnamed project. Look out, Girls Aloud!
