Naomi held by police for 7 hours
Naomi Campbell has been bailed following her arrest last night – after allegedly spitting in a police officer’s face. The supermodel, known for her fiery temper, was released on bail at 12.30am after being held for seven hours. Naomi flew into a rage when Terminal Five lost one of her bags, and when a police officer was sent to calm her down she allegedly spat at him and then laid into him with her fists. At 1am, her press agent Celena Aponte gave a statement which read; "She arrived in plenty of time at Heathrow Terminal Five with two bags, checked them in, and told they were to take the flight. Once on the flight, she was told one bag could not be found and was missing. British Airways decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight, calling the police, and forcibly ejected her from the flight. So far as we are aware, BA has still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal Five." Naomi was flying to LA to attend a memorial service of the mother of fashion photographer Herb Ritts.
 
BBLB Boys
Dermot O’Leary may have quit as Big Brother’s Little Brother’s host (sniff), but all is not lost – the show’s bosses are scouting out the next presenter and according to rumours today it’s now down to just Alex Zane, Rick Edwards, Dave Berry, and George Lamb. None of whom we’d mind seeing more of on our TV screens. But what do you think – who’d YOU like to get the job?

Emmerdale tot axed
One of Emmerdale’s cast members has been fired – for crying too much. And he’s just two years old. Awww, Benjamin Shooter, who played Samson Dingle, kept crying during and after what his mum described as “frightening” scenes with screen dad Sam Dingle, so was replaced by another toddler in February. Quite frankly we’d be crying too if Sam Dingle was our dad. Although insiders on the soap agreed Ben did cry too often, a spokesperson for Emmerdale said that they “frequently re-cast babies and small children if necessary”.

Adele’s been dumped
Adele has been dumped by her boyfriend Slinky Sunbeam (from up-and-coming indie band The More Assured) for another woman. According to reports Adele, who met Slinky earlier this year, has been traded in for Burberry model Morwenna Lytton-Cobbold (does anyone have a normal name these days?!). The source revealed; "Adele and Slinky met in February and hit it off. They are both huge characters and had each other in stitches. It was really sweet. They started dating and Adele thought the relationship was going somewhere. She was really into Slinky and it was great to see her so happy. She's had a bit of a drought when it came to men, despite all her success. Then after about a month she headed off to America to do some gigs. She hoped Slinky would be waiting when she got back. But he didn't hang around."
