Kerry quits MTV show
According to reports Kerry Katona has quit her MTV television show Crazy In Love, amid fears she is close to a breakdown. The Iceland star has been under an immense amount of pressure lately and filming will stop this week – five episodes short of what was originally agreed. In the final episode Kerry is thought to explain why she pulled the plug on the show, a deal worth £160,000. A show source said, "Kerry has been stressed and we've had to stop filming quite a few times. Then she and Mark told us they won't do any more."
Supermodel Naomi in racial abuse slur
Naomi Campbell has been accused of racially abusing a policewoman during her arrest at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 last week. The supermodel claimed that she had only been arrested because she was black. Now the men in blue have come forward to say that the feisty model called a WPC “a white s**g”. The incident happened after Naomi discovered her bags had gone missing. She has been banned from flying with BA again. Her spokesman said, “This doesn’t sound like anything she would say.”
Kylie: "I was misdiagnosed"
Kylie Minogue has revealed that doctors gave her the all clear – despite later diagnosing her with breast cancer. The petite singer went on the US TV chat show Ellen and urged women not to believe everything that medical staff tell them, saying, "This is an opportunity for me to say something that I have not said before. I was misdiagnosed initially. So, my message to all of you and everyone at home is, because someone is in a white coat and using big medical instruments doesn't mean they are right. If you have any doubt, go back again." Kylie said she had been inspired to talk about her treatment after hearing Hilary Clinton talking about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. She added, "I back her up 100 per cent that it's in the diagnosis and the early treatment. I did my Showgirl tour having been for a check and told everything was fine."
Gorgeous Gethin is leaving Blue Peter
Gethin Jones is to leave Blue Peter in June. The handsome presenter, who danced his way into our hearts on Strictly Come Dancing last year, joined the kids TV show in 2005. His agent Sioned James said, “We’ve just always felt that 3 years presenting Blue Peter would be ideal for him, and it’s now time for him to explore other opportunities at this point in his career. He’s proved a very popular lad of late so we’re looking forward to exciting times!” heatworld hopes he gets a new job soon – preferably one that means he’s on telly 24/7. Naked.
