The inquest into the death of tragic Mark Speight has confirmed that the TV presenter did hang himself – and it’s also emerged that he left two suicide notes. One of the notes was found with the 42-year-old’s body, while the other was left at a residential address. The inquest will be reopened on 20 May as the investigation into his death continues. Police are currently still trying to establish how and why he chose to commit suicide at an office block adjoining Paddington Station.

Still quite shocked at this story. Lets hope it shocks other people enough to get of drugs. They don't just mess up the user but everyone around them too.

I'm still so shocked by this, watched SMart all the way from primary school to my final year at high school. I have my own ideas as to why he committed suicide on the building but I'm not posting them ... too insensitive.

Poor guy - no one could help him - he was so funny and had a hilarious rubber-bandy-ness about him - I dont think there will be anyone like him to fill his shoes with the talent and skills he had...God rest his soul.
