Pete moved to segregated prison wing

Jailed rocker Pete Doherty has been moved to a segregated area of prison for his own safety, after it emerged that the other inmates were planning an attack. The grubby-nails singer, who is only one week into his 14-week sentence, requested the move after prison officers allegedly warned him about the attack. “Pete is in the segregation unit for his own safety,” confirmed a source, “But also partly because he asked for the move himself.” Pete has continued to make the headlines even from inside his cell, with rumours of continued drug taking and special treatment. Is it too much to hope that he’ll actually learn something and even change his ways while he’s locked up? *raises eyebrow*
