Why Simon Cowell is NOT happy…

OK, so we know the ever outspoken and controversial Simon Cowell isn’t one to hold back, but we’re still shocked that he’s been quite so damning about every contestant on his own TV show. Simon says (ooh, just like the game!) he’s worried that the current batch of American Idol contestants are devoid of personality. “They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections,” he says. “We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more. You cannot deliver an uninspired performance at the top of the show. And you can't be up there imitating another singer.” Are you watching the current series of Idol? Do you think Simon’s talking sense, or is he just being a grumpy old so and so?

i think he is talking sense - he's a millionaire for a reason, he knows the industry. leona lewis is lucky she's got such an amazing voice becasue she is devoid of personality or anything of interest whatsoever!

Simon Cowell talks a hell of alot of sense!! I watch Idol religiously every wk with my hsb & its very rare that we don't agree with his comments. There are some bloomin good singers this year, but they are singing some well weird songs..hes right!!!
