Bafta wins for Gavin & Stacey
Hoorah! The Gavin & Stacey phenomenon continues to grow! The fantastic BBC Three sitcom bagged TWO Baftas last night, one for Best Comedy Performance (going to James Corden aka Smithy *Heart throbs*) and one for the Sky+ Audience Award for Programme Of The Year, which was voted for by the public and beat off stiff competition from The Apprentice, Britain’s Got Talent and Strictly Come Dancing. Other winners included Harry Hill’s TV Burp (which heatworld hearts on a very deep level) for Best Entertainment Performance, Holby City for Best Continuing Drama and Peep Show for Best Situation Comedy. The wins for Gavin & Stacey coincided with the last episode being on last night (sob). Derren Brown: “I’m gay”
Illusionist Derren Brown has come out as gay, saying, "I've been with my partner for a year – and it's perfect." Derren even apologised to his army of female fans, adding, "I'm desperately sorry to the girls who may have a crush on me. If any of them want to try and turn me... no, no, I shouldn't say that." But Derren explains the decision to talk about his sexuality hasn't been easy, "Coming out when you are in the public eye is one of those things that isn't an issue to yourself, your friends or your family. But you have to make a statement about it. You have to be open and up front – or you end up turning it into a dark secret in your mind."
Emma Watson celebrates turning 18 with £10million!
Emma Watson aka Harry Potter's Hermione Granger celebrated her 18th birthday this weekend at Mayfair restaurant Automat. But the actress had more than her birthday to celebrate – she also got her hands on the £10million fortune she’s amassed from the Harry Potter films! Emma, like many other young stars, couldn't touch the mountain of money she earned until she "came of age". And while Emma gets used to being a multimillionaire, Daniel Radcliffe is finding his roots again. On the set of the new Harry Potter, he is getting quite a reputation for his tea-making. The actor, worth over £20million, has a pad and pen to write the names of all the production staff and their orders on. A source said, "It's rare to find the star doing the job of the lowliest runner." Bless him.
Russell caught in toilet romp
Russell Brand was caught romping with two women in a club toilet at the weekend by a cleaner. Not exactly shocking, is it?! But staff at swanky Embassy Club in London are now trying to get the big-haired TV star barred from the premises, after one of their workers found Russ with the “half-naked” girls. According to a source, he “wasn’t too chuffed at being disturbed”, but despite a warning, later led ANOTHER woman to the toilet. A source at the club said: “There is going to be a staff meeting today to discuss what happened to get Russell banned. What he did was totally unacceptable.” *Raises eyebrow.*

I would've never thought that Derren Brown was gay - he's not even that interesting....
