“Off her face” Amy facing arrest:
Fears for Amy Winehouse are growing after she allegedly attacked two men on a drug-fuelled night out. The singer is now facing arrest by police after claims she head-butted a Good Samaritan who hailed her a cab outside a bar as well as punching a second victim in the face. Onlookers described the debauched night saying they were shocked by Amy who snogged a mystery fella (but then, who hasn’t?) and shocked punters in a pub by turning over tables and knocking over drinks. The trouble is said to have began after Amy and pals, including Babyshambles star Mick Whitnall, turned up at a pub in north London. Once inside, Amy is said to have hit Moroccan musician Mustapha el Mounmi when he refused to give way to her at he pool table. Mustapha who suffered a bruised eye and swollen lip said, "I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back – she's a woman." One onlooker added, "She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables. Amy screamed, "I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs." It was after this that she is said to have attacked someone trying to hail her a cab – reportedly because she thought he was trying to molest her." Amy now looks as though she will be questioned by police and if she is convicted of assault could face up to six months in prison and a £2,000 fine. Yikes.
Billie pregnant?
Rumours are circulating this morning that actress Billie Piper is pregnant with her first child. The former Doctor Who star, who married actor Laurence Fox last New Year’s Eve, has been spotted on holiday sporting a mysterious bump – and from the way she was reportedly cradling her tum, we don’t think it’s simply a food baby. Friends of the couple admitted recently that Billie was feeling “really broody” and that she and Laurence want to have a big family. “Her dream is her, Laurence and a big brood of kids running round home barefoot with chickens,” said her pal. Chickens...? If the little bump is indeed a baby, it may hold up filming for the new series of Belle de Jour – in which Billie does many scenes in skimpy underwear. When we find out the truth, you lot will be the first to know.
Fired Apprentice star: “Boys are bitchier than girls”
Most of you guys think Sir Alan was wrong to fire her last night, but you may feel slightly differently after reading this. Lindi Mngaza spoke last night about her fury over being given the axe, saying, “I thought I was going to win!”. The deluded determined businesswoman has been branded a man-eater by a friend and an ex-boyfriend claimed Lindi had only gone on The Apprentice “to become famous”. The Brummie denies all this, however, but was quick to slam some of the other contestants, saying about Lucinda, “She’s an absolute witch. She creates arguments.” She went on to say that the boys are “worse than the girls” for bitching on the show, and that most of the candidates are “a bit snakey”. Well, yeah, it is The Apprentice, y'know. We think this is shaping up to be one of the best series ever!
Hamster delays op to meet fan
Richard Hammond has proved just what a nice fella he is after delaying an operation to dine with a fan at The Ivy! The Top Gear presenter had crippling stomach pains and was warned by doctors he must have his appendix removed but he persuaded them to delay surgery for two hours for fear of disappointing a competition winner who had cancelled their holiday to dine with him. A friend of Richard's said, "Three people had won lunch with Richard. One was supposed to be on holiday but had given it up because he was going to meet his hero. Richard knew this, so didn't want to disappoint him. After the meal, they said their goodbyes and Richard went to hospital." The op went well, but doctors found he also had kidney stones and a hernia. Bless his little heart!
