Following the news that Amy Winehouse was going to be questioned by police over an alleged assault, a spokesperson for the singer has released the following statement:
"Amy will be voluntarily attending a London police station by appointment with the police. We understand that she will be questioned in connection with an alleged incident in Camden in the early hours of 23 April."
This statement fuels speculation that Amy is indeed in trouble after lashing out at two men on a recent night out. The singer allegedly hit Moroccan musician Mustapha el Mounmi when he refused to give way to her at he pool table and later head-butted a man who was attempting to hail a taxi for her. The incident happened at a Camden bar in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Is it just us, or does Amy seem to be completely out of control lately? We hope this questioning gives her the wake up call she so clearly needs.
