Mystery deepens over Mariah's ‘secret wedding’

Mariah engaged? That’s yesterday’s news – now apparently the diva’s gone and got secretly MARRIED to partner Nick Cannon. However, before you get too excited, there are conflicting reports about the authenticity of the story from various members of Mariah and Nick’s families. First off, a relative of Nick’s, Linda Cannon, confirmed that the couple had indeed tied the knot, saying, " Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him...I’m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him." But then step forward Mariah's nephew Shawn McDonald who has been manically updating his Facebook status telling friends that, "Shawn can officially say that what you may or may not have read or heard is NOT true..." It's thought Mariah and Nick married on a small island earlier this week.
