We're in a flutter over feathers

We read the trend reports and we saw the catwalks, but somehow we weren't convinced that feathers were really going to (be) fly this season. How would we wear them without looking like a second rate, feather boa-draped Shirley Bassey tribute act? Like this! Check out Kate Moss in her feather trimmed waistcoat, Cat Deeley in her Burberry ball gown, Sarah Jessica Parker clutching a brace of pheasants, and Gossip Girl's Blake Lively in Ralph Lauren. While the haberdashery department at John Lewis might not cater for full-on full length, we'll definitely be flocking for a Swan Lake head piece a la Lily Allen. Cute!
