There must be something in the water today, as Jack Black isn’t the only person to make a huge EMBARRASSING gaffe live on TV. We don’t know if you’ve heard about this story in the real news, but basically a nude painting, done by Lucian Freud of a lady called Sue, has just sold for over £17million – a record breaking amount for a living artist. Sue – who's known to her friends as Big Sue – was interviewed on the ITV news but, in the introduction, newsreader Katie Derham called her “Fat Sue”. Ouch... As a result, Sue promptly told her off, and an embarrassing amount of frantic back-peddling took place. It makes us put our hands over our ears and wince. Big Sue, who – funnily enough – is a friend of heatworld's and runs a job centre just around the corner from heat Towers, has now become the most talked-about lady in the news – and she thinks it’s hilarious. Surely Katie Derham must have thought it was a bit weird that someone would call themselves “Fat”? We bet whoever wrote that autocue is hanging their head in shame somewhere.
