Ashlee Simpson FINALLY confirms pregnancy

It’s been the worst-kept secret in showbiz for months, but now Ashlee Simpson has confirmed that her wedding was of the gunshot variety. She and husband Pete Wentz have released a statement via a social networking site confirming that they’re having an ickle babba. “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” they wrote. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.” Ashlee’s also announced that she is taking Pete’s name, and will be known professionally as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Hmm, it’s not the snappiest of names, but we wish them every happiness!

ahh well looks like pete will be off the market for a while but i give tthem a year tops i mean look at what happened to her sisters marrige! i wunder if they'll get a newly weds show?
