David Walliams’ stalker is back in court today to face sentencing. Twenty-nine year old Sarah Bartholemew was convicted on charges of harassment, plus threatening a witness or juror, earlier this month, but sentencing was adjourned to enable reports on her state of mind. In her previous appearance, at Highbury Corner Magistrate’s Court in north London, the court heard that Sarah, from Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, had breached her bail conditions by taking a letter and gifts to David’s home. Sarah alleged that she was in a secret relationship with David, and sent him dozens of sexual e-mails, letters, poems, plus chocolates, DVDs, underwear and cuddly toys, as well as being forcibly removed from a TV studio where David was recording. She also sent a threatening e-mail to David’s agent Carl Hill, saying, “David knows what’s coming to him.” Sarah has already been warned that further bail breaches could result in her being sent to Holloway Prison, but she’ll find out her fate for sure later today.
