We’ve heard it all now… Chanelle reckons she’s big in Europe!

Chanelle’s debut single I Want It famously got to number 63 in the charts here – but now she reckons she’s following in the footsteps of David Hasselhoff and, er, sausages, by attracting a huge following in Germany. Apparently, German and Dutch music fans have been downloading the track in their droves and she’s signing deals to release it in Russia, Japan and Australia. “What is happening is just amazing,” she says. Hmm… call us cynical, but we won’t believe it until we see the paperwork for ourselves. On the upside, if she is genuinely big in continental Europe, maybe she can bugger off and live there? The German football team had better watch out…
