Sharon puts the boot in:
She sensationally quit The X Factor last week, but it appears that Sharon Osbourne won't be off our screens for very long; she's planning on heading over to Strictly Come Dancing – as a contestant! The outspoken TV judge was lined up to appear on the US version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, last year, but pulled out at the last minute because she had to have an operation. A close friend said, "It would make one hell of a TV battle, so don't be surprised to see her hitting the dancefloor." Strictly Come Dancing is X Factor's biggest reality rival, so if Sharon did take part then it would be a big two-finger gesture to the talent show. Talking about why she quit The X Factor, a friend of Sharon's said, "It all comes down to two things – money and Dannii." The star is allegedly preparing to give a no-holds barred interview to Radio 1, discussing how angry she is about the whole situation. "She feels betrayed," continued Sharon's pal. "She is furious with the way things have been handled and that she's come across as a money-grabber." Oh dear. If we were Dannii, we'd be very afraid...

Girls Aloud to split?
Sarah Harding is said to be working on solo material – and has even recorded a funky track with nu-rave group the Filthy Dukes on the soundtrack of forthcoming Hollywood movie Wild Child. Rumours have been rife for months that the girls are planning on a split. First Nadine made moves by setting up home in LA, then Cheryl with her venture with hip-hop star Will.I.Am, then Nicola with her new make-up range for fair skinned ladies and now Sarah! This latest solo project has added further fuel to the fire that the girls plan to go solo with a source saying, "It is a really exciting project for Sarah to be involved with. She was chuffed to be approached and recognised as a singer in her own right... Sarah's always maintained that she loves Girls Aloud and has no desire for the band to split – but that doesn't mean she's not willing to branch out."

New low for Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse is paying five lags £1,000 a week to protect her husband Blakeincarcerated. The troubled singer also pays up to the same amount to fund his drug habit while he's on remand at Pentonville prison in north London. This new twist comes after a video was released showing Amy making racist chants, taking drugs and having sex with her husband in a public place. A source said, "Blake has people who look after him. And he gets crack and heroin. Amy pays for it outside."

Rhys Ifans fighting talk
Heartbroken actor Rhys Ifans has vowed to beat up the man he holds responsible for his break-up with Sienna Miller. The scruffy Notting Hill star has become convinced that his ex-love Sienna has rekindled her romance with her Edge Of Love co-star, Matthew Rhys. Another Welsh actor named Rhys? We're going to get confused. Anyway, a friend of Rhys' has said, "He's taken the break-up really badly and now his hurt has turned to anger – he's said he will sort Matthew out when he sees him." Sienna, who is now refusing to return any of her ex's pleading calls, is worried that Rhys will intentionally sabotage her upcoming premiere for the film she starred in with Matthew. Rhys left her a message saying he would turn up on the night and cause a scene, and Sienna believes him. Oh dear... We do feel sorry for Rhys, but these threats are going to get you nowhere, mate.
