Amy in hospital:
Amy Winehouse spent last night in hospital after fainting at her house. The troubled singer, who has looked worryingly skinny of late, passed out yesterday afternoon but is said to have "quickly recovered" before being taken by her dad, Mitch, to a London clinic as a precautionary measure. It is unknown as yet why Amy, who was caught by a member of her management team as she fell, passed out. A source said, "Doctors are unsure of the cause of the incident and Amy is undergoing tests. They want to make sure she is OK, but it wasn't an emergency dash."

Some girls just can't seem to stay away from bad boys, can they? Step forward Sadie Frost, whose former boyfriends include Russell Brand, Alex Zane and Jackson Scott – and who was famously married to Jude Law (who heatworld used to really fancy, but now thinks is really bleurgh). Sadie's latest rocker squeeze is Towers Of London bassist Kristian Marr – and it would appear that their relationship is far from cups of cocoa on the sofa. The couple apparently had a screaming row over the weekend, and Sadie even hurled the musician's guitar out of her window in a rage. Yikes. The incident, which occurred at Sadie's plush north-London home, was rumoured to be the result of weeks of arguments over Kristian's wild antics and close friendship with Amy Winehouse. Hmmm. When will Sadie – who once famously said that she liked being "treated like a princess" – learn to steer clear of these guys?

Wayne & Coleen ready to start a family
The confetti is barely settled on the ground, but whispers are already starting that Wayne and Coleen's next step will be to start a family. The couple, who married last week, have both admitted that they'd love to have children – with Wayne even saying he'd like three or four if possible. Coleen herself said that if she fell pregnant then it would be great, but went on to say that the couple have no plans to start a family straight away. We can just picture it now: random auntie Rooney cornering Coleen at the wedding to ask when to expect grandchildren. What is it with older relatives wanting babies? Anyway, whatever the cute couple decide, we think they'd have adorable kids!

TV psychiatrist admits copying work
TV psychiatrist Raj Persaud has admitted to using material from other medical experts. The shrink, best known for his appearances on ITV1's This Morning accepted that he copied four articles for his 2003 book From The Edge Of The Couch, the General Medical Council was told – even agreeing that he had passed off other scholars work as his own in articles, journals and newspapers. But Dr Persaud denies being dishonest and bringing the profession into disrepute, despite QC Jeremy Donne for the GMC telling a misconduct hearing, "The articles all demonstrate the extent Dr Persaud has appropriated the work of others as his own. Dishonesty can be inferred from his repeated conduct in plagiarising academics." Mr Donne added, "His book went to the second edition and he was being paid for his articles. All of this was at the expense of the hard work and scholarship of other people." The GMC heard that Raj Persaud had gained the permission of one professor to quote him believing he would be attributed. Mr Donne went on, "He was astonished that a substantial portion of his paper had been copied in what he believes was deliberate plagiarism."
