John Leslie accused of rape AGAIN
Disgraced former TV star John Leslie was arrested last night following another accusation of rape. The 43-year-old has been questioned by police over an alleged attack at his home, in which a female victim has claimed that he forced himself on her. The incident, which the woman claims happened back in November 1995, occurred a few years before John Leslie was accused of another sexual assault, which led in part to him losing his TV career. Despite the large gap in time, police sources say that the woman "has given a plausible account and the investigation is being taken very seriously." The ex-Blue Peter presenter was formally arrested last night on suspicion of rape and indecent assault, but insists he is innocent. A pal of John's said, "He has now been accused again of rape and is devastated about it. He believes he has been deliberately set up because of his past." Five years ago, John Leslie was acquitted of two counts of indecent assault on an actress, and was also named on TV as the alleged rapist of Ulrika Jonsson. Following this, a string of women came forward to claim that they had also been targeted by the star, but no charges were brought. John Leslie is co-operating fully with the police in this case.
 
More rumours about Guy and Madge split
Rumours have been circulating for months that Madonna and Guy's marriage is in trouble, and now a friend of the couple has spoken out about what life is really like behind closed doors. The close pal alleges that the famous pair's seven-year marriage is in such crisis that they are planning a split, and that they have been living virtually separate lives. "They're obviously sad," explains the friend, "But they're dealing with it like grown-ups. Things have just run their natural course." The source goes on to say that it's likely Madonna will make a formal announcement about the split at the end of her world tour in November. Their main priority now is to provide stability for the children, Lourdes, Rocco and little David. Madonna said in a recent interview that "Guy can be intolerant of my behaviour, but he has certain personality traits which need to change as well." The couple are currently working apart, with Madge over in New York and Guy working on a new Sherlock Holmes film in London, but neither has confirmed yet the split.

Heather Mills to join Celebrity Apprentice
Who would’ve thought Heather Mills would turn out to be quite the reality TV queen, eh? Not content with strutting her stuff in fancy frocks on Dancing With The Stars, Heather is set to continue her one-woman assault on the small screen with a stint on the US celebrity version of The Apprentice. Megabucks tycoon Donald Trump (the States’ Sir Alan, but with larger hair) is thrilled Heather is on board, saying, “Everybody wants to be on The Apprentice. We have tremendous people.” Good luck to you Donald – we wouldn’t want to go up against Heather in the boardroom…
 
Mark Ronson’s £1million birthday payday
Gone are the days when 21-year-olds are content to celebrate their coming of age with a bottle of Babycham down the local boozer – these days you’ve really got to push the boat out. And for that, Mark Ronson is forever grateful. The DJ played a special gig in the Cotswolds for a very lucky lady (a posh shipping heiress, no less) with very rich parents. For the reported sum of £1million, Mark sang his little tweed-suited heart out for 500 of her pals at the Moulin Rouge-themed bash, before treating the birthday girl to a special rendition of Happy Birthday. Nice.
