Why Britney might be back with Adnan:
On no... We were hoping this piece of news was going to turn out to be nothing more than a silly rumour, but this morning fresh information is emerging about Britney getting back together with Adnan Ghalib. According to friends of the troubled star, she has decided to give the Brummie pap another chance, and he has been spotted arriving at her home in the Hollywood Hills. It's been six months since the couple initially split, which was shortly after Britney was admitted to hospital, and we truly wished it would be the last we saw of him. Those close to Britney are shocked at her decision and are suggesting that she may have taken him back because she believes he has a stash of home videos of them together. A concerned friend explained, "Everyone is amazed that Brit has taken him back. Perhaps she couldn't live without him, but these rumours keep going round that he's got some naughty tapes and that Brit wants to get her hands on them." Britney's father and conservator Jamie Spears is said to be unhappy about this latest development, with one source saying, "He [Jamie] thinks Adnan's seedy, with ulterior motives." Although we don't know Adnan personally, we do know what state Britney was in when she was spending all her time with him before. We can only hope that she sees the light before things start going downhill again.
Sharon Osbourne's at it again...
Sharon Osbourne has once again got the knives out for her fellow reality TV show judges – but Dannii Minogue can breathe easy for now, as this time America’s Got Talent judge and media type Piers Morgan is in the firing line. The pair have just finished filming America’s Got Talent together, but Sharon isn’t too impressed by Piers’ self awareness – insisting he “needs a roadie to carry his ego”. Why? Because he constantly regales Sharon with tales of his triumph on the US version of The Celebrity Apprentice. She says, “I tell him to shut up. Nobody cares about The Apprentice – yet we have to hear about it, over and over again.”
Damon Dash: "Becks was jealous of me"
If we were a man, we'd SO be jealous of David Beckham. He's got the body, the footie skills, the pretty wife, the gorgeous kids... However, there's one deluded self-assured individual who thinks the opposite. Damon Dash, who worked with Posh back in 2003 when she tried to become an R&B star *shudders*, has spoken out about how he thought Becks was jealous of him. "I wouldn't blame David if he was jealous," boasted the music mogul. "I was hanging out with his beautiful wife all the time. I think he thought there was something going on between the two of us." Hmmm, Becks or Damon Dash? That's a really tough one... Speaking at a wrist watch launch (random, but true), Damon went on to boast, "I know they had a conversation about it, but who can blame him? I'm a fly guy." Whatever you say, Damon...
Alan Carr offered £2million to leave Channel 4
Is Alan Carr set to ditch his partner in crime, Justin Lee Collins? Everyone’s favourite bespectacled comic has been offered a huge £2million to defect from Channel 4 – home of the Sunday Night Project – to ITV for the megabucks two-year deal when his contract ends in January 2008. And ITV are confident Alan will turn out to be one of the channel’s top comedians. A source at ITV says, “Alan is perfect for ITV and our viewers will love him. He is the natural successor to Paul O’Grady and Michael Barrymore.” But ever the gentleman, Alan insists he hasn’t yet made his mind up. He says, “Channel 4 have been wonderful and I’m very loyal.”
