Madonna wants to reunite Britney and JT *squirms*;
Oh, how embarrassing. It’s like your great aunt trying to match-make or something, but yes, Madonna plans to reunite Britney Spears with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake during her world tour. The singer wants them both to make surprise appearances on stage with her at the finale of her string of Sticky & Sweet gigs in Miami in November. Britney has already filmed a cameo for Madge that will be screened behind her as she performs, but now Madonna wants to go one better and get them to sing with her live. Justin, of course, sings with her on the hit 4 Minutes. “Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect,” revealed a source. “They have both been asked, but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it. But if anyone can make this happen, it’s Madonna.” Oh go on, guys… we’d love to see the awkwardness of it all. Maybe they could all do a three-way snog on stage or something? Now that we’d pay to see…

Ronnie checks into rehab
Ronnie Wood checked into rehab yesterday – possibly in a bid to save his marriage after this week's revelation that he has a 20-year-old Russian lover Ekaterina Ivanova. Sources claim that the part-time model, Eka, stayed with Ronnie twice while he was at The Priory previously – behind his wife Jo's back. One source said, "Everyone thought she was his daughter, but it became apparent she wasn't. We then assumed. We then assumed she was a groupie." Eka's mum also revealed that she believes her daughter has slept with Ronnie despite Erika denying it. " I know her voice. I know she was lying to me," said her mum. It's thought that Ronnie checking into rehab and giving Eka her marching orders is a last-ditch attempt to save his marriage of 23 years.

Corrie in crisis as stars fall prey to mystery bug
Ooh, there’s trouble at mill. Coronation Street are having to scrap upcoming scenes as several cast members are going down with a mystery illness. An on-set source said, "They're dropping like flies – it's more like Sickie Street these days and the bosses are getting worried." Kym Ryder called in sick one day as did Johnny Dixon who plays Darryl Morton. Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) and Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) have also had to take time off in recent days and filming schedules have had to be changed. We’re pointing the finger at Betty’s hotpots (that sounds a bit rude actually doesn’t it. Not to mention sick...)

Gary Barlow to be a dad again
There’s another Take That baby on the way! Yes, Gary Barlow is going to be a dad again after confirming the news that his wife Dawn is expecting their third child, due in early 2009. Bless! The pair already have seven-year-old Daniel and six-year-old Emily. A pal said: “Gary and Dawn are delighted and everyone is really happy for them. Gary has had some ups and downs, but everything is going so well at the moment for him. This is the icing on the cake.” This news comes after Mark Owen revealed that his missus Emma Ferguson will give birth to their second child late this year too. Is there something in the water at Take That HQ or what? It’ll be a busy time for Gaz and Mark as well as being daddys though as the Take That boys are currently working on new material AND a new tour due at the end of this year. Phew!
