Amy convinced Blake will be released today:
We can barely even remember the days before Blake became Blakeincarcerated – and today is the day when he will discover his fate. Amy Winehouse is said to be convinced that her banged-up hubby will be released later today under the terms of the sentencing at his trial for assault and perverting the course of justice. The deluded hopeful singer was wandering around the streets of Camden last night, and even picked up a bunch of flowers from a petrol station to give to her man. Nice. Friends are concerned that Amy has not prepared herself for a negative outcome, and are worried that she'll go totally off the rails if Blakeincarcerated is not released. Sadly, despite her dad Mitch's efforts and those of her doctors, Amy is set on a path of self-destruct from which nobody seems able to distract her from. We will be keeping a close watch on the trial and will bring you news as soon as it happens.
Joss Stone dating Nelly... What?!?!
We've seen some odd celebrity couple in our time – but we think this actually has to be the most unlikely yet. Joss Stone – you know, her of weird outfits and annoying accents – is rumoured to be seeing none other than US rapper Nelly. We know! We can't get our heads around it either. A source close to the couple said, "Joss and Nelly have been out on a few dates together. It's early days, but we haven't seen Joss this happy in a long time." Joss, who recently joked that she was thinking of becoming gay because she couldn't find a man, has reportedly said that beefed-up Nelly is "just her type". Her pal added, "It's great she has met someone as successful as she is and who understands the pressures being a performer can put on your life." Someone as successful as she is? Hmmm. We can only hope to GOD that this new musical duo don't feel the need to inflict a duet on us or anything... *shudders*
Cheeky mum slams daughter over "miscarriage" story
Unless you were trapped under a rock yesterday, then you couldn't have missed the big tabloid story about Cheeky Girl Gaby sadly losing her ex Lemsip Icepick's baby. Well, now her mother Margit has spoken out angrily about her daughter's confession, labeling it "upsetting" and "private". Margit said she didn't think the matter should've been made public, complaining, "I'm not impressed with this. It should not be public. This is personal!" Gabriela, who told a The News of the World yesterday that she had had miscarried the MP's baby when the pair hit a rocky patch, tearfully admitted that Lemsip never knew she was pregnant. Despite being clearly angry with her daughter, Margit also told reporters that she was sick of people "pestering" Gabriela. Oh dear, and we thought all this break-up stuff was just a little ploy to get people watching their reality show. It looks like there's much more going on...
Tom being lured to make Top Gun 2 *lets out excited wee*
When we think about Tom Cruise these days, we try to forget all the Scientology/Oprah's sofa stuff, and instead focus on his younger, fitter, Cocktail and Top Gun days, so when we heard this news we were VERY excited. Movie bosses are reportedly trying to persuade the actor to appear in a sequel to Top Gun, which would be set 22 years after the first film. The idea is that Tom would reprise the role of Maverick, but this time he would be an instructor at the Top Gun school who has to deal with a troublesome female recruit. We think it sounds simply a-mazing! The script has been written, but it all depends on whether Tom says yes to the project. Tom, if you're reading this, PLEASE be Maverick again!!
