Summer’s It shades

Whilst those celebrity types swan around in their designer dresses, heels and handbags – us mere mortals are hard pushed to afford a keyring here or a coin purse there (before flinging them around at every opportunity, just in case someone chooses to note our designer creds). But then we have sunglasses, and there’s nowt quite as glamorous as a piece of designer eyewear, especially when it’s the hottest style this summer: aka the Prada Butterflies. Just ask Gwen Stefani and Nicole Richie and Juliette Lewis and Paris Hilton – well, you get the point. Best of all, they’re so super-sized you needn’t bother wearing slap, doing your hair, or wearing anything much at all – OK, that’s not true – but at least it’s a break from all those Wayfarers. If you fancy a piece of Prada, just pop down to your local David Clulow – they’ll cost you £177.50 – and with pay day just around the corner, there’s never be a better excuse to feast your eyes on this season’s purdiest eye candy! (not including David Beckham, obv.)
