Kelly Brook sobs after police telling-off:
Bubbly TV star and actress Kelly Brook was in disgrace yesterday after receiving a ticking-off from the police. The famously curvy brunette was pulled over shortly after driving away from a set of traffic lights because she was talking on her mobile phone. Naughty, naughty... An onlooker who saw the incident, said, "The officers didn't treat her differently to anyone else. They explained it was against the law." The witness went on to claim that Kelly became very embarrassed and apologised to the policeman over and over again before breaking down in tears. "She wasn't looking for any special treatment," the onlooker continued. "She accepted the ticket in good grace." The officer gave the star a stern telling-off, before letting her continue on with her journey in Kent. A source close to the star later confirmed, "She's really sorry for what happened."

Has Sienna already lost her new man?
More bad news for Sienna Miller today – her married lover Balthazar Getty has reportedly met with his wife to beg her to take him back. The oil heir visited his wife Rosetta at the couple's marital home in LA this weekend, and friends say the 38-year-old fashion designer is considering taking him back. A source close to Balthazar said, "The children are very much his priority." Emerging from his LA home at the weekend, Balthazar told waiting reporters, "I can't comment. When I'm ready I'll issue a statement. It's because of the children." This development happened after it was rumoured that former alcoholic Balthazar only gave Sienna a lift on his boat and cavorted with her because he'd fallen off the wagon. Sienna is said to be desperate to keep hold of her man, and pals say she has been texting and calling him non-stop since the pair parted ways in New York last week. Sienna has been heavily criticised for her involvement with the married father of four, and Balthazar's wife is said to have found the very public affair "hugely upsetting". Come on, Sienna – there are plenty of other men out there who AREN'T married...

Pete Doherty almost drowns at festival
Pete Doherty had to be rescued from freezing water – after his rowing boat sank. Pete and five friends tried to sail to a VIP area after playing at Scotland's Live at Loch Lomond Festival on Saturday. Half way across the lake, the boat started to leak and the lads had to be helped to safety. Adrian Hunter, Pete's manager – who was one of the rowers – said, "We lost an oar and sprang a leak. It was freezing and we had a laugh, but it would not have been funny if someone died." Er no Adrian, you're right, that wouldn't have been funny.

Becks is already an American Idol
David Beckham has been voted by kids in America as their Number One Sports Idol. Just a year after arriving, DB hit the top of the polls – with nearly two out of three kids choosing him. Becks even beat Super Bowl sensation Eli Manning to hit the top spot. Becks was voted top athlete in the Teen Choice Awards, and was presented with his trophy last night at a televised celebrity bash by Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus. And that's no the only award he's claimed – recently he was named Major League Soccer Player of the Year at US cable TV network ESPN's sporting excellence awards. Go Becks!
