News has just reached heat Towers that Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman has been taken to hospital following a traffic collision. The 71-year-old star of films such as The Shawshank Redemption, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves and, more recently, The Dark Knight, was airlifted to hospital in Memphis late last night after the incident. A source confirmed, "He [Morgan] was airlifted from the accident scene to a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the wreck." The source went on to say, "Freeman’s condition is unknown, but state troopers tell us he was talking at the scene before he was taken to the hospital." heatworld has no more information at present, but as soon as we have an update we'll let you know.
