Crazed fan confronts Girls Aloud:
It's only been a few months since their last crazed fan, but despite security being beefed up for Girls Aloud, a drunken fan managed to sneak backstage at their gig on Sunday night, scaring the girls. Chezza and co were left shaken after a man confronted the girls moments before they were due onstage at Nantwich, Cheshire, this weekend. "It was all pretty dramatic," says a source. "The girls were due onstage in about three minutes time when he ran up to them. He'd clearly had far too much to drink and was stumbling about the place." The man, who started to shout obscenities at the girls, was quickly hauled away by security, who then called the police. Police questioned the man but later released him. "The girls were total troopers and despite being a bit shaken, they simply went out and gave a brilliant performance," says a source close to the girls. Professionals to the end, ladies.

Morgan Freeman in "serious condition"
As we reported yesterday, Hollywood actor Morgan was airlifted to hospital in Memphis last night following a nasty car collision. The star of new Batman movie The Dark Knight was driving a friend's car as it veered off the road, flew through the air and flipped over several times before landing in a ditch. Morgan and his female companion, friend Demaris Meyer, had to be cut from the wreckage before being flown to a nearby hospital. Sources say the actor is in a "serious condition". Local reports claim the actor has broken an arm, a shoulder and several ribs, but was able to talk at the scene and was even making jokes with the rescue workers. An onlooker confirmed, "he was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with one of the rescue workers at one point." When one man tried to take a photo, the 71-year-old star even managed to joke and say, "No freebies, no freebies." It is not known yet how the incident happened, but sources say alcohol is not thought to be a factor and that the actor could have fallen asleep behind the wheel. Scary stuff. Jade Goody rushed to hospital
Poor Morgan Freeman isn't the only celebrity who ended up in hospital yesterday. Big Brother star Jade Goody was admitted yesterday after collapsing at her home in Essex. The 27-year-old star collapsed and was losing a lot of blood, but she still managed to call the ambulance herself. She was given morphine and oxygen and is expected to be kept in hospital while further tests are carried out. Jade's agent confirmed, "She passed out but was able to call the ambulance. She was losing blood and was not in a good way." The agent also said that the illness is still "a mystery" at this time and that Jade will be remaining in hospital until doctors are sure of what is going on. Crikey, poor Jade. We hope you're feeling better soon.

Oasis plan huge world tour
Sorry, is that 1995 calling? Oh no – it's just Oasis planning on embarking on a massive tour later this year. *sighs, gets out Blur T-shirt*. Yes, Liam and Noel and er, the others ones will play a set of gigs here in the UK from October, then head off round the world, only to come back to us 12 months later. Lucky us. The big question though, is A) Will the brothers Gallagher manage to keep on good terms with each other for that long? And B) Will Liam have that ridiculous Jane Asher-style bob for the tour? We do hope so.
